Yet another colleague of mine, Maggy from work, gave me the honours of publishing a contributing to our homepage. She was so fortunate to have seen Mr Bryan Adams live in concert somewhere in Austria - too difficult to get to for people without cars, like us.    >:o[
Anyway, this is her personal report about it.

A Live performance of a special kind:
On the 29th of May 1999 Bryan Adams performed at Burg (= castle in English) Clam in Grein, Upper Austria, accompanied only by guitarist Keith Scott and drummer Mickey Curry , all three of them clad in white.
They started with the all time favourite "Summer Of 69" and Mr Adams was in great spirits, vocally as well as mentally. He swapped between ballads and rock songs, ranging from "Have You Ever Loved A Woman", "Let's Make A Night" ("I'm sitting here in my castle", he quipped jokingly), "Please Forgive Me" to "Back To You", "Cloud No 9", "18 Till I Die" or "When You're Gone" (even outstanding without singing partner Spice Girl Mel C).
The crystal-clear moonlit sky and the scenery of the castle were in perfect harmony, especially with the emotional ballads (Bryan Adams wittily remarked, "the most beautiful girls I've ever met I've met in Austria"). After just over 2 hours non-stop and 3 encores Bryan left the arena - forgotten was the fact that we all had to stand throughout the whole concert as there was no seating. He left us with the yearning feeling of wanting more.
(music or something else, that's the question?)
