Bell, ex-manager of the famous pop duo WHAM!, was negotiating with the
cultural attaché of China to make WHAM! the first western group
to perform in that country.
A Beatles album
with unreleased tracks was axed by the 3 surviving members of the group,
Ringo, Paul and George. The album, recorded in the Abbey Road Studios,
was titled "Sessions" and covered the years '63 to '69.
Rumours were

topping the British single charts with "Easy Lover", a duet with Phil Bailey
and the US45 charts with "One more night".
