Saints with DaveAll Saints' debut movie "Honest", directed by Dave Stewart, of Eurythmics, has flopped. Radio 1 reported that UCI cinemas have pulled the film from their scedules just shortly after its release, as ticket sales for it were in the dumps.

Jon Bon Jovi has been reported to have agreed to play a part in the film "Pay It Forward" - while still working on the upcoming album.

According to reports, Bobby Brown's court case came up on 22/5/00, with Bobby facing charges of probation violation. However, his attorneys insisted they needed another month to basically get all their facts together and straight. Bail was nonetheless refused.
Apparently Whitney, his wife, was supposed to support her husband in court - but decided against it. An on-looker said that, without Whitney Houston's support Bobby Brown looked very gloomy.

There's a new album by Peter Gabriel out, featuring music written for the Millennium Show and collaborations with Richie Havens, Elizabeth Fraser, Alison Goldfrapp, Paul Buchanan and Iarla Ó Lionáird.

Sir Bob Geldof, former singer of the Boomtown Rats, basically critizised the way NetAid was handled. Bob, once honoured with a knighthood for his engagement in Live Aid in the Eighties, said that Bono and Harvey Goldsmith, the two main people behind NetAid, shouldn't have gone ahead with idea, cause it was, "... up to much as an idea for a major charity event. ... It was a nice objective, but the way it was to be carried out I didn't think was up-to-much."

A fan of theirs reported that there was a unique Genesis reunion at Heathrow Airport, London on May 11th. For the first time ever, Mike Rutherford, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Tony Banks, Anthony Phillips, John Silver and Steve Hackett got together for old times' sakes.

Lauryn Hill is due in court on 21st of June, allegedly having taken full credit for her solo album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" dishonestly. New Ark, a group of musicians, filed the case about a year ago, insisting that Ms Hill had used their songs and production skills but failed to properly credit them on the record, but only got credit in the liner notes.

Former Neighbours star Natalie Imbruglia - currently working on new material - spent about £500.000 refurbishing her riverside Spanish villa, situated near to the Royal palace, to have a £250.000 recording studio installed. The building work had caused concern amongst her neighbours, including Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page who also had to endure a lot of noise.

Janet Jackson has announced her divorce from Rene Elizondo, to whom she has been secretly married for almost ten years. Elizondo was co-lyricist on Janet's last three albums.
Although they've split about a year ago, Elizondo threatened to publish a revealing book about their relationship unless his payments were increased, despite Jackson's offer of $11million to settle the separation without a legal battle. Therefore Jackson responded by officially filing for divorce.

RickyLatino heart-throb Ricky Martin has revealed he'd like to personally stage another Live Aid concert to help suffering kids around the world. He told in an interview that he's worked very closely with children suffering from Aids and finds it quite rewarding to put a smile back on the face of a dying child. With him being the organiser of such an event, he'd love to invite stars like Sting, David Bowie and Elton John to get involved.

Canadian born Alanis Morissette wants to sell around $1 million worth of her MP3.com shares - stemming from a consulting deal MP3 has with Atlas/Third Rail, Alanis' management company. She acquired around 329.000 shares in the company in April 1999, currently the equivalent of nearly $4 million.
MP3.com's market value has decreased dramatically after losing a court battle by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Finally some good news to publish again. Marti Pellow, ex-singer of Wet Wet Wet is back on top, according to his own statement on his webpage. He spends most of his time in Elvis Costello's studio in Sussex, working on new material and hopes to release a new album around autumn. We wish him all the best!

BBC's Radio 2 has hired former Sex Pistols' Glen Matlock to present a 2-parter on punk rock, titled 'Anarchy In The UK', which will feature interviews with John Lydon (alias Johnny Rotten), former Clash manager Bernie Rhodes and Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren.

At an Internet auction in aid of OXFAM, starting on 10/05/00 and finishing on 17/05/00, Pete Townshend is to auction a number of memorabilias, including a few gold and platinum awards, and some guitars. The money raised will be donated to the emergency programme in Mozambique.

Ex Take That star Robbie Williams has set up a children's charity - Give It Sum - with the earnings from his Pepsi deal. The new trust is set off with £2m from Robbie himself and will be run by Comic Relief. Beneficiaries include UNICEF and Jeans For Genes, a research charity focusing on inherited illness.
