[this picture here is a little self-made piece of art from various clips]

Ever since having seen the first Wham! video on telly, actually on the once ever so popular music channel Sky, I've been a huge fan (an understatement for anyone who's known me since then) of George and Wham!. Hence this extra bit of space on our homepage for the man.

: George Michael's duet with Whitney Houston, a re-mix of her song "If I Told You That" (from her album "My Love Is Your Love") has been released now and is already climbing up the UK charts. You can download and listen to it at http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Palms/7887/ (if still avaliable). Also, they're said to finally have made up, burying the hatches of their old feud and have been seen having dinner out together.

George Michael has taken part in the Equality Rocks Concert, an event for gay and lesbian rights in America, held at the RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C., on April 29th. Other stars at the bash included Ellen Degeneres (tv's "Ellen"), the Pet Shop Boys and many more. (source Dotmusic)

The $10 million lawsuit filed by the Los Angeles policeman Marcelo Rodrigues (the man who arrested him in April '99 for lewd behaviour at a public toilet) was dismissed by the court on February 15th. Congrats George! :oD

George has released a new cd on the 6th December '99 called "Songs From The Last Century", an unusual but great new album. Here you can listen to a sample, "Brother Can You Spare A Dime" (also sung at the NetAid concert in October '99), from his new.

George Michael has taken part in NetAid (see also AEgean Net), the mega event to raise money in aid of poor countries and also the Stonewall concert (together with Elton John, Culture Club, Jimmy Sommerville, etc.).

On a different note, read our special report from the Linda Mc Cartney concert at London's Royal Albert Hall in April '99, kindly contributed by Cavalini.

For more information visitAEGEAN NET, the official GM-fanclub (membership fee £ 15/year), run by Shirlie Kemp, other half of the ex-duo Pepsi & Shirlie and friend of George himself since the Wham! days.

Also, we advise you to check out

PLANET GEORGE, a special "experience" for any George fan and the place to call home

and not to forget

my Norwegian friend Anette's Norwegian George Michael (& Ricky Martin & Metallica) homepage,

only to name a few, for any information on the man.
